Political Affairs

The political environment of areas like Iraq and Afghanistan are fluid and very complex. Adapting to this environment can be challenging due in large part to the continued evolution of political dynamics in conflict and post-conflict zones. It is important to build informal and formal relationships with leaders at the host nation’s national, provincial, municipal, community, and tribal levels.

Our personnel are experts in observing and analyzing relevant political developments occurring within a complex environment. Our staff retains similar qualifications to those required for key staff serving in US Embassies. They are trained to interface with political entities of all levels, from local officials and business leaders, to ministers and the host nation’s military units.
